I’ve been working my way through the list this month, having thus far watched Krampus: The Reckoning, Mother Krampus, and Mother Krampus 2. Up for streaming right now on Tubi you’ll find…
#SOMEONE IN THE DARKNESS CG MOVIE#
The success of that movie opened up the floodgates for horror movies centered on the holiday beast of Alpine folklore, and thus far they’ve pretty much all been of the *no-budget* caliber. In particular, Tubi has loaded up on Krampus-themed horror movies, all of which have come in the wake of Michael Dougherty’s Krampus back in 2015. One would hope that Capcom would employ Nick Apostolides and Stephanie Panisello, but we’ll have to see. No further information has been released at this time, including just who will be handling the voice-acting duties for Claire and Leon. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, and “adds suspense into dynamic action scenes” to “reveal a Resident Evil world unlike anything seen before.” The series is being executive produced by Hiroyuki Kobayashi (Capcom), produced by TMS Entertainment, and animated by full 3D animation studio Quebico, which worked on the 2017-released Resident Evil: Vendetta. Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is based around the stories of Leon S. Revealed via Netflix Portugal (and it seems accidentally, as the tweet has since been deleted), Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is scheduled to be released in 2021. Netflix surprised everyone today with news that in addition to the upcoming live-action Resident Evil series that’s currently in development, we’re also getting a CG series featuring Claire Redfield and Leon S.

In addition, concept art for the series has made its way online, which Biohazardcast was quick to pick up. Not a film, Infinite Darkness will be an episodic series featuring Leon and Claire. UPDATE: It looks more like this was a slip of the finger by Netflix Portugal, as Capcom and Netflix officially announced the CGI series today at TGS 2020.
